What Happens After the Candle Burns?

Remove the used wick (compostable)
Smooth the surface of the Sand Pearls
Insert a fresh wick
Top up with more wax if needed

How Palm Sand Pearl Candles Work: Step by Step

Choose your vessel. Any heat-safe container works - a ceramic bowl, a glass jar, a decorative planter, a teacup, a concrete holder. This is one of the biggest advantages: you're not stuck with whatever jar the candle company chose.
Pour in the Palm Sand Pearls. Fill your vessel to about three-quarters full. The beads flow like sand, so they'll conform to any shape.
Place your wick. Push the wick down into the center of the Palm Sand Pearls. The Sand Pearls hold the wick upright (no centering devices needed).
Light it up. Light the wick and let it burn. The heat melts the Sand Pearls closest to the flame, creating a melt pool just like a traditional candle.
Extinguish and reuse. When you're done, blow out the wick. Once the wax cools and re-solidifies, remove the wick, and reuse everything.
